Policies

Check In 

Guests can check in between 14:00 - 22:00. Guests wanting to arrive earlier/later should make prior arrangements with us.

Check Out 

Guests must check out by 11:00 hours.

Booking and Payment

Credit card details are required to secure a booking. No deposit is normally charged but rooms must be paid for in full on arrival. We accept most credit and debit cards

Cancellation Policy

Reservations must be cancelled 2 days in advance of your arrival date. In the event of a no show or a cancellation in breach of this policy, the cost of the entire reservation will be charged to the credit card provided at time of booking.

Smoking

All bedrooms are non-smoking. Any guests found smoking in the hotel will be charged £50.

Damages

Any damages found and judged to be the responsibility of guests will be chargeable.

Group Bookings

No group bookings (two rooms or more) will be accepted without prior discussion with hotel management, and no single sex groups will be normally be allowed.

Children

Children are welcome. Discounts for children are already shown in the quoted family room rates.

Pets

Well-behaved dogs are allowed by prior arrangement. Dogs should not be left unattended in guest rooms. A one off charge of £5 is made per dog.

Parking

Parking is free and convenient. During the holiday season (June - September) and at weekends throughout the year we have a parking space available for every room. Weekdays out of season we have limited parking in our car park behind the Ravenswood but on-street parking outside the Ravenswood is available and unrestricted overnight (4pm - 10am).
